Construction Update - April 2026

Since our last update, crews have nearly completed work on the project laydown yard on State Route 4, including the delivery of job trailers and the installation of safety fencing. Crews have also been inspecting the full linear facilities route of the project, including locations of all turbines, access roads, underground collection corridors, and crane paths.
Other key construction activities since our last construction update include:
  • Completion of the limited tree clearing needed for access road installation and facility placement.
  • Approximately 30% of access road entrances from local roadways have been installed.
  • Signage installed for routes covered by local road use agreements, ensuring construction traffic uses the designated routes.
  • Ongoing material and equipment deliveries

Looking ahead, activities anticipated to take place over the next month include:

  • Continued access road installation working from the South to the North
  • Site preparation for project substation and GE welcome center, where trucks carrying wind turbine components can check in prior to final delivery to turbine locations.
